We are connected to more than 100 mines with different quality of iron ore. Each mine's ore has a different kind of Iron ore suitable for different applications. We specifically sorts the iron ore desired to our customers from the mines and process it further at our benefication unit according to client specifications.
High-density iron ore refers to iron ore deposits that contain a higher proportion iro (Fe content) that increase the overall density of the ore compared to standard iron ore. These ores may have a higher content of heavy minerals such as magnetite (Fe₃O₄) or hematite (Fe₂O₃), which contribute to the ore's overall density. The higher density can make these ores more desirable in certain applications due to their enhanced properties.
We offer Iron Ore with specific gravity (SG) ranging from 4 to 5
& bulk density ranging from 3.1-3.5 gm/cc. Vstake has all kind and range of iron ore according to the client's application.
Uses of High Density Iron Ore:
High-Density Concrete: The high density of iron ore makes it a suitable material for use in high-density concrete applications, particularly where radiation shielding is required. This type of concrete is used in construction projects such as nuclear facilities, where protection from radiation is critical.
Radiation Shielding: In addition to the general use of iron ore in concrete, magnetite and other high-density materials can be mixed into concrete for specific applications requiring protection from radiation, like medical or research environments.
Counterweight Filling: High density iron ore is vastly used in manufacturing of counterweight or balance weights. The desired weight is easliy attained by using our counterweight. We specialize in places where regular iron ore doesn't suffice and additional iron scrap is needed to attain the weight. Vstake assures that by using our High Density Iron Ore, the use of iron scrap in counterweights reduces by a good margin or not using iron scapt at all.
